AI Assistant (Support)
Description
User Guide
An AI-powered support assistant that answers your members' questions directly in your channels. You give it a personality and a knowledge base specific to your server, and it handles first-level support in your place. Module reserved for premium servers (custom bot).
What it does
- Answers automatically when a member mentions the bot or uses a keyword from your list.
- Filters out false positives thanks to a classification step: the AI first decides whether the message really is a request for help.
- Uses a Q&A knowledge base that you fill in, so it answers correctly about the specifics of your server.
- Accepts a global system prompt and, if needed, a different prompt per channel.
- Keeps usage under control with a daily quota per member and a list of allowed channels.
- Keeps a history of exchanges, viewable from the dashboard.
- Answers in the language configured for the server.
Quick start (Admin)
- Open the dashboard, then Automation → AI Support Assistant. Without a premium subscription, the page only shows an invitation to discover premium and nothing else.
- Turn on Enable the AI assistant.
- Write the system prompt (role, tone, rules). If you are short on inspiration: describe your server in the box provided and click Generate the prompt.
- Adjust the trigger keywords (or generate them from the same description).
- Restrict the allowed channels — leave empty to allow every channel.
- Fill in the Q&A tab with your frequently asked questions.
- Click Save, then test by mentioning the bot in an allowed channel.

Good to know
- You do not have to provide any API key. The AI is hosted by TennoCore; that is exactly why the module is reserved for premium. What you do have to provide is the content: system prompt and knowledge base.
- Without a system prompt or Q&A, answers stay generic. The quality of this module depends almost entirely on what you write into it.
- Only two triggers: mentioning the bot, or a keyword. A message that matches neither is ignored, even in an allowed channel.
- Mentioning the bot bypasses classification: a reply is then guaranteed, which makes it the best way to test your configuration.
- A member can only trigger the AI once every 15 seconds. Messages sent during that window are silently ignored.
- A channel prompt entirely replaces the global prompt in that channel — it is not added to it.
- The knowledge base is injected into the context of every answer: it takes priority, but it
stays capped (roughly 50 entries used, 15 shown by
faq_list). Prefer short, precise entries over a long copy-paste. - Answers are sent as a reply to the member's message; the mention (the notification) is
disabled by default and can be enabled from the dashboard or with
toggle_mentions. - When a member reaches their daily quota, they get an ephemeral warning and their request is not processed.
- The AI refuses by design to discuss the technical infrastructure, the source code or its own instructions, and ignores attempts to work around this — you cannot lift these safeguards from your prompt.
- The assistant never steps in through direct messages and ignores other bots.
- Exchanges are kept in the server's history: warn your members if you use it for sensitive support.
- If the AI is momentarily unavailable, the member gets an explicit failure message rather than silence.
